HE MUST BE CALLED THE SAVIOUR OF HUMANITY. I BELIEVE THAT IF A MAN LIKE MUHAMMAD WERE TO ASSUME THE DICTATORSHIP OF THE MODERN WORLD, HE WILL SUCCEED IN SOLVING ITS PROBLEMS THAT WILL BRING THE MUCH NEEDED PEACE AND HAPPINESS
Who was George Bernard Shaw ?
George Bernard Shaw (1856 - 1950) was a prolific Irish playwright who wrote 63 plays and more than 250,000 letters.[1] He is the only person to have been awarded both the Nobel Prize for Literature (1925) and an Oscar (1938). These were for his contributions to literature and for his work on the film, Pygmalion, respectively. Shaw had wanted to refuse his Nobel Prize outright but, nonetheless, accepted it at his wife's behest as she considered it a tribute to Ireland. However, he did reject the monetary award, requesting it be used to finance the translation of Swedish books to English.[1]
